DVD VHS Combo Players

Do they use an HDMI port or the HD Cables?? Im curious b/c im getting an HDTV and upconverting dvd player soon.

I have heard about interlacing, progressive scanning etc…I dont yet have a hdtv, but will be getting one soon, I want to buy the right DVD player now.

I’m wondering, if you bought a new computer with a built in blue-ray DVD player, would you be able to connect it to your existing entertainment center to watch DVDs on an HDTV? Thanks!!!

I want to purchase a flat screen televsion to go above my fireplace, but I don’t want wires all over the place, is there such thing as a wireless system to work with an HDTV? If not, how would I attach the wires from DVD player to the tv if the DVD player is approx. [...]

We recently got a 60" hdtv. Now I want to get an hddvd player. I’ve noticed that a lot of dvd players say up conversion. Does that mean they play high def dvds or just upconvert anything you play. Anything I should know about would be greatly appreciated
